The history of Goa from Vedic times upto Liberation from Portuguese rule is well documented. The authors have introduced us to several unsung heroes of the Goa Freedom Movement, names that would otherwise never be known and easily forgotten. However, this book does not cover the takeover of Goa by Indian forces.
