In Man’s Eternal Quest, Paramahansa Yogananda examines the little known and seldom explained aspects of certain topics. They are life after death, meditation, the unlimited powers of the human mind, health and healing, the interrelatedness of all life, and the equality of man and woman. The collection of talks by Paramahansa Yogananda provides informative insights and practical guidance for those who have tried to understand the mysteries of life. Also, it is helpful for those who are not sure that God really exists, and for seekers who have already turned to God to seek the truth. Paramahansa Yogananda has stated in his book that the foremost prayer in every heart should be the prayer for God's presence. During the course of life one must realize that only God can satisfy one's desires as God has all the answers.
Paramahansa Yogananda was an Indian yogi and guru. Through his book, Autobiography of a Yogi, many westerners were introduced to the teachings of Kriya Yoga and meditation. Some of his other popular books include The Bhagavad Gita: God Talks With Arjuna, Whispers From Eternity, and Journey To Self Realization. He was born on January 5, 1893, in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. He did his graduation from the University Of Calcutta. His guru Swami Yukteswar Giri opposed blind belief and taught his students the need for directly experiencing the truth. Yogananda attained mahasamadhi on March 7, 1952.
