This is the story of an American boy who was raised by a terrorist father. Zak's father was one of the masterminds behind the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993.
Summary of the Book
It was never easy for Zak Ebrahim whose father killed the leader of the Jewish Defense League and helped plan the 1993 bombings of the World Trade Center. His father, El-Sayyid Nosair, is also known to have said in an infamous video clip to “Remember El-Sayyid Nosair.” In school, Zak was always teased and excluded. His father and uncles were obsessed with their beliefs, but Zak always felt that there was something wrong in the way they thought and felt. In this book, he tells his readers about his own journey, and how loving or hating is a choice.
About Zak Ebrahim
When he was just seven years old, Zac Ebrahim’s father shot and killed the leader of the Jewish Defense League. His father was one among those who helped plan the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993. A childhood full of terrorism was most of what he knew. He grasped the details of his father’s acts better as he grew, and the more he understood it, the more he wanted to live a life promoting world peace.
