Les Miserables.
Jean Valjean began as a thief with no morals. His life was a constant quest for getting what he wanted, no matter what the means. To that cause he even robbed a pastor. When he was caught, he never thought that the pastor would forgive him, let alone tell him that the things he stole were his to keep. Years later, he is a changed man, trying to live according to a path the pastor would have encouraged. A mayor now, he goes out of his way to help people in need. He will do anything to help them and to secure their happiness. However, his past is not so easily forgotten. Inspector Javert, who was an adjutant guard at the Bagne of Toulon during Valjean's incarceration, has always been suspicious of the mayor and thinks he might know who he is. When a young lady of incredibly bad luck comes to their attention, Javert and Valjean are again drawn close, close enough for Javert to make the deadly accusation. Can Jean Valjean escape his past? Or will he be forced to pay for sins he has long since paid for?

Anne Of Green Gables
Published over a century ago, Anne Of Green Gables captivates the minds of the young and old alike, even today. This is the story of a young orphan girl named Anne Shirley. The Cuthbert siblings live in a farm on the Prince Edward Island and intend to adopt a boy to help them run their farm. Instead, Anne is sent to them from an orphanage and so the story begins. Anne is a joyful, dreamy, and talkative girl. Anne Of Green Gables traces her childhood as she goes to the local school, befriends Diana Barry, becomes hostile towards Gilbert Blythe, indulges in naughty little shenanigans, and relishes her playtime. She grows up to be an extremely quick-witted girl who goes on to earn a teaching license. Towards the end, the book takes a rather poignant turn wherein the Cuthbert siblings grow old and face a tough time while Anne is always there to help them, thanks to her kind nature. Anne Of Green Gables has been translated into 20 languages worldwide. It has been adapted into multiple television series over the years.

Alice In Wonderland...
“Curiouser and curiouser!” – This remark made by Alice in Alice in Wonderland can be best used to describe the girl herself. Boredom was the best thing that could have happened to the curious girl on the day she saw the White Rabbit whizz past her. Could it be her imagination? This question was answered when she saw him reach for his watch from his waistcoat pocket and cry out in panic. She immediately started following the rabbit that disappeared down a rabbit hole. Not wasting a second, she too went down the hole that seemed like an eternal tunnel. The journey down seemed long and slow till she landed with a loud thump. Not hurt, and not stopping to think about where she was, she sprinted after the White Rabbit again. She did not realize that this was the start of a magical adventure in a world full of enchanted characters that would change her perspective of everything and everybody. Follow her down the rabbit hole and meet the special characters she comes across in this wonderland, including the wise Cheshire Cat, the blue Caterpillar smoking a hookah, the Mad Hatter at the mad tea-party, and the ill-tempered Queen of Hearts with her famous line “Off with their heads!”
