Subscription Plan
Subscription Plan Includes, Security Deposit, Enrollment Charges & Library Fees.
Security Deposit: A one-time security deposit is required at the time of registration. The deposit will be refunded only when the membership is cancelled. Refunds will be processed after all outstanding charges have been settled. A cheque will be issued in the name of the person to whom the membership is registered, and it will be delivered within 14 working days. The library reserves the right to recover any costs related to damage or loss of library books. If the member fails to pay the membership fee by the due date, the library may recover the fee from the security deposit.
Enrollment Charges: This is a one-time registration fee charged by the library at the time of registration. Enrolment charges are non-refundable.
Library Fees: You are responsible for paying the applicable library fees and taxes promptly using a valid payment method. If payment is not made on time, a 30-day grace period will be provided. If payment is still not received after 30 days, your account will be placed on hold until all outstanding dues are cleared. Pai’s Friends Library reserves the right to recover any overdue subscription fees from the security deposit already paid. Your subscription will automatically renew for subsequent terms unless you cancel your membership or we terminate it. The subscription fee will be charged automatically on the first day of your initial subscription. In the future, we may update our subscription fee plans, and any changes will take effect only after at least one month's notice, which will be posted on the library website.
Book Return Policy
There is no specific due date for returning the books; you may keep them for as long as you need. However, you must continue to pay the subscription fee for as long as the books are kept.
To avoid being charged subscription fees, you must cancel your subscription before it renews. All fees and charges are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon receiving your cancellation request, your account will be reviewed, and any outstanding charges will be deducted from your security deposit.

Members are prohibited from writing on, damaging, or marking library books. We ensure that all books sent to you are in good condition prior to dispatch. It is your responsibility to inspect the condition of the books upon receiving them. If you find any issues, you must immediately report them to the library’s logistics staff before leaving the premises. Failure to check or report the condition of the book will be considered as acceptance of the book in good condition. You will be held liable for any compensation charges as determined by Pai’s Friends Library for damages or loss.
