Truly, Madly, Deeply!
A fascinating, roller-coaster tale of teenage love, Kazi's book depicts the emotion in its raw, confusing form – just the way you'd have experienced it the first time you fell in love with someone. Kazi's penchant for detail is impressive and makes the book an alluring journey for all die-hard romantics. — Tuhin Sinha, best-selling author of 'That thing called Love' and 'Of Love and Politics'.

God Moved Your Cheese
Ever given a thought as to: Why do most people, even though despising what they do, religiously wake up every morning to welcome the same mundane routine for another frustrating day? Why does the motivation to achieve something in life automatically dissappear after a few days? What stops us from achieving what we really want to achieve? Why do we mostly choose a 'safer' option (eg. a Job), rather than following what our heart really wants us to do? God Moved Your Cheese throws up practical insights into these queries, in a rather innovative and simplistic manner, logically building up to that one attribute which will grant you the right to be successful in any sphere of life. Forever.

Did You See The Joker?
The girl whispered, “I love you.” It took a while for the words to sink in his consciousness. When they did, he broke into a brief silent smile. The trace of dismissive scorn did not miss the girl. She repeated, “I loved you . . . from the moment I saw you there at the corner table.” He watched her with an amused mocking glint and said in a slurred voice, “It's okay. I paid you already.” “You know, he looked exactly like you, calm, serene, simple, sitting at that corner hidden in the darkness watching me. He was the one who took my virginity.” He stopped for a moment and listened. In a stupor of inebriation, it sounded like a true account. “He said he loved me. He used to come every night. He bought me this gold chain you see.” The girl pointed at her neck. There was a scar at her neck and there was also a thin gold chain resting on her bare chest. Ceaseless flow of life swirls around the bends of tears and laughter, vengeance and passion, hatred and love. Yet it flows . . . nothing can stop it. Nothing can block it. The eternal flow holds the wavering reflection of the joker . . .

Riddle Plays
Innocent laughter is rarely seen these days. From very early age, children today are made to carry heavily loaded bags to school. At times, those bags weigh more than their own body weights. Their lives principally rotate round the many C's, Career, Computer, and Competition, to name a few. The number of hours and minutes available to them are strictly divided for each pursuit, lest even a second is wasted! There is just no time for them to read a book, unless it is a textbook. Just no time to look out of the window, just like that, doing nothing! Being non-critical about the existing system, where is the scope, space or time, for that matter, for moulding the young intellect with the care it deserves? That is a critical question. We may face it, or may ignore it. The choice is ours. Tagore (1861-1941) always believed in development of superior intellect in complete harmony with time, system and context. Hasya Kautuk (1907), particularly written with this objective, is one of the masterpieces among his numerous brilliant creations. Comprised of short plays, this book is a discovery of adolescent intellect through humour.

Illusions Of Love
Like a phoenix Sheena rises from the ruins of her fate to build a remarkable career and lay the foundation of a beautiful life that promises to last 'happily ever after'. Then all of a sudden dark clouds threaten to obscure the sunshine in her life. But she chooses to shut her eyes to the storm, blissfully ignoring its threat! Like the peacock thrilled by the first drops of rain after a long scorching summer, she mistakes the gathering clouds as harbinger of excitement in her life that she makes herself believe to have become monotonous for her. As she lets her passions soar high in the sky, it does not take much time for her to fall miserably on the hard ground, very much like the peacock that loses all its fervour in the midst of its rain-dance, when faced with the reality of its ugly feet. This saga of the beautiful and gifted woman Sheena takes one on a journey of human feelings and emotions that range from the beautiful to the grotesque, the amazing to the gross. The Journey Of Om
The naked flames danced gracefully around me as the pain flowed, through my veins. The grief and sorrow enveloped me and I descended into it without resistance. Coldplay strummed their beat as their melancholic lyrics rang so very true. The candles began to die one by one. They had served their purpose for that brief moment in time and finally reached their destiny. The sands of time continued to slip on by. The merlot mixed with my blood and the bitterness ran through me. Devastated by his beloved's betrayal, Om collapses both physically as well as emotionally and with that, begins his arduous battle for peace. Torn between love and anger, Om inadvertently starts to lose his grip on life as he knew it causing his world to spiral out of control. Hoping to recover, Om turns to his closest friends, Arun and Mona. However, instead of gaining support, he bears witness to the trials which have beseiged their lives. Like life, the three tales entwine sprinkled with humour, tragedy, perseverance and karmic retribution, and through Om, they bind together into a climactic conclusion.

Men, as they are!
Did you know that a man's obsession with his bike subtly shows the affection he demands from his woman? Did you know that pink may not be a woman's favourite colour after all? Did you know that men are not polygamous by nature? Most importantly, did you know that each zodiac sign carries its own style of making love? The book answers all of these and more, including how I balk at the pressure to get married only to realise that there are many more women like me who love their independence, space and regular infiltration of office workload. It also reveals how men are not a confusing lot to understand. You just need to switch your brains on to understand prerogatives better. It unleashes the power hidden in the zodiac sign of your man to know if he is the answer to your prayers or you need to wait a little longer continuing the ritual of fasting on specific religious days for a perfect partner.

Instead of an imagined world, the storyteller through these stories offers a slice of life, a down-to-earth scenario in which the reader finds himself involved unknowingly. The writer having a good understanding of basic human feelings brings them out dexterously in these tales on divergent issues. The stories open a world of fallacy, malice and maladjustment, and take him directly to it. This is the world that is already known to him, but he very often chooses to close his eyes to it. Brimming with unlikely and colourful characters, the tales offer a fine blend of irony and humanity, with some of them replete with heart-warming humour.
