Adiyogi The Source of Yoga
"Shiva does not spell religion. Shiva spells responsibility-our ability to take our very life process in our hands." - Sadhguru. 'Shi - va' is 'that which is not', a primordial emptiness, Shiva is also the first-ever yogi, Adiyogi, the one who first perceived this emptiness. Adiyogi is symbol and myth, historic figure and living presence, creator and destroyer, outlaw and ascetic, cosmic dancer and passionate lover, all at once. A book like no other, this extraordinary document is a tribute to Shiva, the Adiyogi, by a living yogi, a chronicle of the progenitor of mysticism by a contemporary mystic. Here science and philosophy merge seamlessly, so do silence and sound, question and answer-to capture the unspeakable enigma of Adiyogi in a spellbinding wave of words and ideas that will leave one entranced, transformed.

Om Swami
Everything I thought to be true about life, its meaning was challenged after meeting Swami. It was reduced to dust. Soon I had to admit that there were things far beyond the scope of my rational mind. What is it that draws one to a mystic? What is it like to know at close quarters a man whose powers are beyond the conscious mind? What does it feel like to be fulfilled spiritually, to feel understood, to stand revealed? As Ismita Tandon and Swami Vidyananda Om explore their feelings for Om Swami, their baffling experiences with him, a secret world of mystical phenomena lights up. They talk about the intimacy of their daily lives with Swami, observing his sheer power, his simplicity, his empathy for every living creature he encounters and the care with which he chooses every word he speaks, no matter how big or small the matter. They speak of his beauty, his divinity. What emerges is a moving portrait of devotion and trust, and the startling image of a saint who was able to inspire such depth of feeling.

Tell Me the Truth : Conversations with My Patients
Cancer patients put up with the most and complain the least, endowed with an uncommon wisdom that is a privilege to observe. It is not simply that they see the big picture, if you spend long enough with them, they help you see it too. While most books on cancer are written by patients, here is a rare perspective from the other side of the desk-an oncologist responds to her patients questions on cancer, life and death while she seeks to console and nurture them. But as she shares her experiences with her patients, Dr. Ranjana Srivastava also reveals the very human side of the medical profession-the moral dilemmas, anxieties and challenges that an oncologist experiences as she treats her cancer patients. Written with great compassion and honesty, Dr. Srivastava shows us that the best doctors are the ones who keep learning by listening to their patients. This book is also an acknowledgement of the incredible courage of ordinary people as they confront the big issues of life and death.

The Jesus Papers
What if everything you think you know about Jesus is wrong? In The Jesus Papers Michael Baigent reveals the truth about Jesus's life and tackles controversial questions, such as whether or not there is incontrovertible proof that Jesus Christ survived the crucifixion. Twenty years ago Michael Baigent and his colleagues stunned the world with a controversial theory that Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene married and founded a holy bloodline. His bestselling book Holy Blood, Holy Grail (with co-authors Henry Lincoln and Richard Leigh) became an international publishing phenomenon and was one of the sources for Dan Brown's novel The Da Vinci Code . Now, with two additional decades of research behind him, Baigent's The Jesus Papers presents explosive new evidence that challenges everything we know about the life and death of Jesus. Who could have aided and abetted Jesus and why? Where could Jesus have done after the crucifixion? What is the truth behind the creation of the New Testament? Who is working to keep the truth buried and why?
