तुम्हाला माहित आहे कां ?… गुगलचे पहिले औपचारिक कार्यालय लॅरी व सर्जी यांनी एका मित्राकडून भाडयाने घेतलेल्या गराजमध्ये होते. लॅरी पेज व सर्जी ब्रिन स्टॅन्फर्ड विद्यापीठाच्या प्रांगणात १९९५ साली भेटले. लवकरच त्यांनी एका प्रकल्पावर काम करण्यास सुरुवात केली. हा प्रकल्प जागतिक आंतरजालावरील (www) माहिती डाऊन लोड करून लिंक्स द्वारे शोध (सर्च) घेण्यासंबंधी होता. हे काम त्यांना पीएच. डी पदवीसाठी लिहाव्या लागणारया प्रबंधाकरता वापरता येण्याची शक्यता होती. नंतरच्या काळात निधीची उपलब्धता आणि आरेखनातील अडचणी पार करून एक औपचारिक कंपनी बनली. १९९८ साली स्थापन झालेल्या आणि आज जगातील सर्वाधिक लोकप्रिय ऑनलाईन सर्च इंजिन असलेल्या गुगल या इंटेरनेट कंपनीचे मूळ, कंपनीची धुरा वाहणारी माणसे,तिची भरभराट आणि त्यांची उत्पादने आम्ही तुमच्यासमोर आणत आहोत.
