About the Author Vijay Seshadris poems, essays and reviews have appeared in the New Yorker, the Paris Review, Yale Review, the Times Book Review and other journals and anthologies. He has received grants from the New York Foundation for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. He has also received the James Laughlin Award, the Paris Reviews Bernard F. Conners Long Poem Prize and the MacDowell Colonys Fellowship for Distinguished Poetic Achievement. He teaches poetry and non-fiction writing at Sarah Lawrence College.
