On 31st October, flight ACL248 en route from L.A International (LAX) to Mexico City (MEX) disappeared off Mexico Approach Radar at 0125hrs (approx) local. Wreckage of the plane was found on high terrain in the Sierra Madre mountain range at a point 450 miles (approx) north west of Mexico City. There were 148 fatalities, 0 survivors.
